The cause

North East born.
North East funded.

A meaningful share of net profits from every draw goes to a consortium of North East charities working across disability, youth, community and hospice care. The total raised is published after every draw, and full accounts are filed at Companies House.

✦

A genuine free route

Anyone can enter by post at no cost beyond a stamp, with the same odds as a paid entry. This is what makes The Golden Passport a prize draw and not a lottery under the Gambling Act 2005.

✦

Prize ring-fenced first

The £20,000 is set aside the moment enough entries have been sold to cover it in full. Only after that are costs and charitable shares paid.

✦

Witnessed and published

The draw uses a verifiable random method in front of an independent witness. Method, date, witness and result are all published on this site.

✦

Voluntary code, followed

We operate under the DCMS Voluntary Code of Good Practice for Prize Draw Operators and the CAP Code. The full terms are written to be read.

From the founder

Prize draws in this country give away houses and supercars. Nobody had offered the one prize that comes with no running costs and no regret, a holiday designed entirely around the person who wins it. I built The Golden Passport to offer that, and to make sure the region I come from gets something back every single time.
